The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the schedule for the Practical Examinations for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses for the September 2024 Public Examination. Below are the key details regarding the examination dates, procedures, and important instructions.

Examination Schedule

The Practical Examinations will be conducted from 20th September to 7th October 2024 at designated Examination Centres for both All India and Overseas learners. The detailed schedule is as follows:

Secondary (Class X)

  • 20th to 23rd September 2024: Home Science, Biology, Geography, Science, Communication, Early Childhood Care and Education, and more.
  • 24th to 27th September 2024: Physics, Physical Education, Data Entry Operations, Library and Information Science, and others.
  • 28th September to 1st October 2024: Various subjects including Catering Management, Food Processing, and Web Designing.
  • 3rd to 7th October 2024: Computer Applications, IT Essentials, and other vocational subjects.

Senior Secondary (Class XII)

The schedule for Senior Secondary courses follows a similar pattern, with specific subjects allocated to each date range.

Important Instructions

  • Hall Tickets: Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the NIOS portal before the commencement of the Practical Examinations.
  • Results Declaration: Examination results are expected to be announced approximately 7 weeks after the conclusion of the theory examinations. Candidates should check the NIOS website for updates.
  • Contact Information: Candidates are advised to contact their respective Examination Centres in advance to confirm their batch timings and other details.
